I find it almost surreal to say out loud last week that we organized the ninth 2022 Asia Legal Awards on Hong Kong Island Shangri-La. It was our first attendance event in over two years, and I had the honor of playing as a host and principal for a long time.
The event went well if I say so myself — partly because we were finally able to gather as a group of industry players — with more than 100 participants in Hong Kong, where more than 120 are allowed in one place. It was wonderful to see all the lawyers go down on guard and quite happy to go home. Who would have thought that possible? (I’m kidding, of course.)
