GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Midnight on July 31 is the deadline for applications for the “Arts Tag mini-grant”, a grant given to artists by the Arts Council of Alachua County.

Alachua County artists, collaborators, and non-profit organizations can apply to receive an “Arts Tag mini-grant”, which will provide funding up to $1000.

BIG NEWS: Columbia County residents are raising money for a Lake City radio station battling dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Funding will help go toward photo supplies, music supplies, screen time, printing, and other project related expenses.

The grant funding is provided through the sale of “I support practice” license plates. The Arts Council of Alachua County will review submitted applications and make financial recommendations.
