And at the end of last week, there were some major changes to the rankings. When it came to the movie of things, a new original from the streamer wasted no time in climbing the ranks. But the most important news has to do with television, as a giant has finally fallen, but not far from the list. Top 10 Movies On Netflix In The U.S. – July 16, 2022
The sea beast, which I predicted almost a week ago would reach No. 1, still stays in that spot after catching it on Tuesday. Second place now has a new occupant on Persuasion, the Netflix adaptation of Jane Austen that fell on Friday. The film directed by Dakota Johnson lowered the colorful musical Sing 2 to third place. Fourth place now belongs to the 2018 war film 12 Strong, which has dropped one place from yesterday. Meanwhile, the 2017 TV CHIPS adaptation, which drew strong thoughts from an OG star, is still in fifth place.
The devastating documentary on real crimes Girl in the Picture now ranks sixth after being fourth on Friday, while The Man from Toronto remains in seventh place. At number 8 is Mean Girls, who gathered internet thoughts after returning to the streamer earlier this month.
