Guru Vandana Academy hosts Geeva Arts Festival July 8-10. Tickets are on sale now.
Louisville’s Guru Vandana Academy hosts the Geeva art festival on July 8-10. This is the 11th year for the festival, and there will be solo and band performers on these traditional Indian styles: Bharathanatyam, Kathak and Kuchupudi. There will also be two dance performances at the festival.
Guru Vandana Academy was founded in 2012 by Guru Smt. Akila Iyer. It is a non-profit organization that provides dance parties and other events of Indian culture. The school is responsible for managing and maintaining the Geeva Art Festival.
The ceremony will be held at 3 p.m., and the first will be held on July 8 at the Kentucky Hindu temple. The festival will take the July 9-10 performances to the Ursuline Arts Center on Lexington Road.
Event tickets can be found here: https://www.geevaartsfestival.com/. People with traditional passports are able to attend the event by handing over their “passport” to the caregiver.
