The IRC is seeking a Senior Staff Attorney to join the IRC in Dallas to lead direct representation efforts in the Safety and Justice for All (AMAN) program, which provides universal representation for Dallas residents facing foreclosure. The Senior Staff Attorney is an experienced forfeiture defense attorney who will carry the custody and noncustodial forfeiture caseload and supervise fully accredited representatives and case officers who assist with legal cases and provide case management services to AMAN clients and their family members. The Senior Prosecutor’s staff will bring several years of experience representing individuals facing removal, superior legal judgment and legal ethics, and demonstrated commitment to immigrant rights. The position will collaborate with community partners and will be part of the Asylum and Defense Removal Community Practice, led by the IRC’s Immigration Technical Unit (TU) at IRC headquarters, which supports 24 IRC legal services programs across the United States.
