Background to the IRC: Founded in 1933, the IRC is a leading non-sectarian voluntary organization that provides relief, protection and resettlement services to refugees and victims of oppression or violent conflict. One aspect of the IRC is providing assistance to refugees resettling in the United States. The IRC opened an office in Phoenix, Arizona in 1994 to provide reception and placement services for newly arrived refugees. The office resettles refugees and provides various program services to help refugees from arrival to citizenship.

**Job Overview:**Caseworker provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants to support a positive resettlement experience and the achievement of client self-reliance. The Case Worker works closely with clients, colleagues and external parties to develop service and/or self-reliance plans to meet individual client needs and preferences, utilizing a wide range of financial, medical, social, vocational, and others, according to client eligibility and program requirements.
