Have you ever dreamed of going to Venice, Italy and riding a steamboat along the Grand Canal? Have you dreamed of going to London, England and seeing Buckingham Palaces’ changing of the guards or walking across Tower Bridge? Or going to the “City of Lights,” Paris, France?

I cant? Aren’t they worth more? Maybe some, but there are people like me who know how to go cheap.

First go to Delta.com or American Airlines, AA.com and see frequent flyer mileage offers. Right now, American Airlines is giving you 50,000 miles if you get a credit card and spend $2,500 in the first three months. The first year of the credit card is free after which it is $99. If you cancel the card within a year, the card will be free and you will get 50,000 miles. What can you do with that distance? Example- For 45,000 miles you can fly from Atlanta to Paris, France on November 10, and return on November 19. You will pay a minimum mileage package fee of $87.37.

Paris has an extensive rail system with 16 lines as opposed to Atlanta’s two lines. For about $13 U.S., you can ride the subway or bus all day. To get to and from the airport there is a fee of $10. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world. So, so much history, so many famous places, you can barely scratch the surface in 10 days. Remember the first and last day are travel days, so you basically have seven days in Paris.

Accommodation in Paris is easy to find. For budget friendly hostels, check out Hostelworld. Explore the best hotels in the world or different ones in the city. Hotels closer to the city are, of course, more expensive, so if you prefer a cheaper hotel, look for one outside.

For all the information you’ll need, check out our travel book library. Don’t worry about speaking the language of the places you want to visit, English is universally spoken.

To get credit card payments you can search on a website like wallethub.com. Have a nice trip!
