Thursday
Elmore County’s Payton Stephenson threw for 144 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-17 win over Marbury and added 138 yards on 10 rushes. See the article : Dr. Annette Mercatante, colleagues reflects on the end of her career at St. Clair County Health Dept.. He also had an interception.
Elmore County’s CJ Wilkes ran for 109 yards and a touchdown. Jabari Murphy caught five passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, and ran for 25 yards and a score.

Elmore County’s Garrett Allen caught three passes for 49 yards and two scores and intercepted a pass.
Marbury’s Carsyn Cobb ran for 158 yards and a touchdown. Cody Whitford made four tackles, including a tackle for a loss, and had a 60-yard touchdown catch.
Tallassee’s Tyler Ellis ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-13 win over Reeltown. Cade Everson ran for 71 yards and two touchdowns.
Trinity Presbyterian’s Trevor Pearson ran for 136 yards and two catches on seven carries in a 34-16 win over Booker T. Washington-Tuskegee.
Trinity’s Seawell McKee made seven tackles. Carson Brown had four tackles, a tackle for loss and a sack.
Volleyball
Thursday
Hooper Academy‘s Grace Seale had eight kills and four aces in a three-set win over Abbeville Christian. KG Taylor had eight aces.
Hooper Academy’s Libby Bressler had 10 assists and four aces. Read also : Sonoma County is celebrating the grand opening of Mitote Food Park in Roseland. Carly McLeod had nine assists.
Prattville Christian’s Baylee Rogers had 33 assists in a four-set loss to Auburn. Hannah Jones had 12 kills. Avery Rogers had 13 digs.
Trinity Presbyterian’s Emma Moody combined for 16 kills in two-set wins over LAMP and Pike Road. Addison Cherry had a total of 35 assists on the night. Anna Moore had nine kills.
