The atmosphere tonight in the second half of the Pittsburgh Steelers / Seattle Seahawks game was not like most NFL preseason games.
In fact, it was better than some regular season games and that’s because of the anticipation of the hometown crowd watching former Pitt great Kenny Pickett make his debut with the Steelers.
And unsurprisingly, Pickett did not disappoint and was nearly perfect to lead the Steelers to a 32-25 lead. With the score tied at 25, Pickett connected with Tyler Vaughns for a 24-yard touchdown to give the Steelers the win.
In his NFL debut, Pickett was 13-15 for 95 yards and 2 touchdown passes. No. 8 also connected on a 2-point conversion pass and ran 3 times for 16 yards.
Although all three quarterbacks played well, everyone is talking about Pickett.
