Sisbarro Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-RAM in Deming is hosting a Pep Rally and Free Lunch for the Deming High School Football Booster Club on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM.

The event will be held at 4211 New Mexico Highway 549 in Deming.

“Sisbarro’s dealership here in Deming has been open since 1995 and we are proud to support both the Deming and Luna County communities,” said Sydney Williams, General Manager. “We invite parents, coaches, boosters and fans to come out and help us kick off the 2022 high school football season.”

Silas Wilson, New Mexico Activities Association chief of officials in Deming, will hold a meeting for all individuals interested in becoming an athletic official. The meeting is at 5:00 PM. on Wednesday 17 August at the E.J. Hooten Recreational Complex on South Nickel Street.

You must be at least 16 years old. Knowledge of sports is not necessary, but would be a plus.

Officials are needed for lower level competitions in all sports except football. Seventh and eighth, C-team and junior varsity officers for baseball, soccer, volleyball and softball are needed.

Ticket prices to all athletic events at Red Mountain Middle School are adults, $4; and college students and seniors, $3. Ticket prices to all athletic events at Deming High School are adults, $6; and students and seniors, $4. All tickets must be purchased online at GOFAN.CO and prices include a $1 service fee.

All employees of Bataan, Bell, Chaparral, Columbus, Deming Intermediate, Memorial, Ruben S. Torres, My Little School, and Central Office who want a season pass to sporting events pay a one-time fee of $10. This pass gives you access to all athletic events at RMMS and DHS, excluding post-season play. All DHS and RMMS employees seeking a season pass to athletic events will pay a one-time fee of $5. This pass grants you access to all athletic events at RMMS and DHS, excluding district tournament playoff games. All DHS and RMMS student athletes can purchase a Season Pass for a one-time fee of $5. This pass allows them to participate in all athletic events at RMMS and DHS, with the exception of district tournament playoff games. Season passes for non-district employees cost $60. Season passes for students cost $30. Seniors (age 55 and older) pay a one-time fee of $5 for their pass.

Passes can be purchased from the DHS Athletic/Activities Office located in the Hofacket Building on the DHS campus.
