“The defense played really well. Offensively, a good passing game and running game ended up putting points on the board and getting about a 35 yard field goal from Beyler. Special teams, just all play well. The coaches stuck to the game and it was good. Everything we love,” Ashcraft said.
The Watertown Rapids 2022 PGCBL season ended on Friday, and for Rapids infielder Tyree Bradley, it was a season to remember.
Bradley was a triple hitter, 5th in batting average with .389, second in home runs with 9 and led the league in batting with 47.
Bradley was a big part of the Rapids 2nd half surge that nearly lifted them to a playoff spot.
“Yes, I was very good this year. It reminded me of my freshman year. I just came out, happy, I just came here to have fun. Back in school, I got hurt, so I didn’t do anything but getting back on the field was a lot of fun,” Bradley said.
