While this tool can help you estimate some health care costs, it’s important to know that it only provides a partial estimate. The estimate includes hospital fees and costs, but does not include physician fees, such as fees for emergency room physicians, radiologists or anesthesiologists. In addition, your final cost may be higher or lower depending on many factors, including insurance coverage, length of stay in hospital, health complications and the recommended treatment ordered by your doctor.
