London will soon host the biggest K-pop stars and open up to big Korean businesses.

HallyuPopFest 2022 OVO Arena will arrive at Wembley on July 9 and 10 for a two-day festival to honor all aspects of the K-pop industry.

Fans will get more than a dozen artists to headline the long-running EXO group Kai and Chen.

In addition, HallyuPopFest London will welcome six boy bands (SF9, ASTRO, CIX, ONEUS, CRAVITY and P1Harmony), three girls groups (EVERGLOW, Weekly and Ke1per) and soloists Paul Kim, Sam Kim and Hwa Sa. MAMAMOO).

In addition to the performances, UK fans will be greeted with a “hi-wave meet and greet session” (in line with COVID’s guidelines) and a red carpet to get closer to the stars.

For entrepreneurs who want to network or connect with growing industries in South Korea, the festival will also hold a market called “HallyuTown” open to the public to help Korean businesses enter the global market. . The Munhwa Broadcasting Company (MBC) hosts Korean TV and radio broadcaster HallyuTown at HallyuPopFest.

In an effort and opportunity to promote Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), MBC and HallyuTown share that they will present about 60 companies.

HallyuPopFest also hopes that local businesses in the festival can network to find ways to connect their brands with the influential world of K-pop stars, whose exciting fans can reach millions of impressions and activations. Attendees will see this impact firsthand with the promise of artist visits to HallyuTown to “act as an ambassador to present and promote the products on display to the audience,” MBC shared in a note.

HallyuTown can position K-pop stars who are loved around the world as an example of one of the unique ways they interact and work with local businesses to help promote not only their music, but also many other industries.

More ordinary visitors can come to taste Korean cuisine, learn more about the country’s culture, and participate in activities with books that promote beauty, lifestyle, food, and more. MBCk Korea Foundation for Cooperation for Large & amp; Small Business, Land Affairs (KOFCA) and the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) to help make HallyuTown a reality.

After HallyuPopFest in Singapore in 2018, this first stop in London in July will be a great opportunity for local K-pop fans and those interested in Korean industry and culture in general.
