Video game fans will appreciate this week’s content debuting on Netflix.
On Thursday, August 11, the streaming platform will release the third season — known as “Book 3” — of Dota: Dragon’s Blood, an animated series based on the 2013 MOBA game Dota 2. The series premiered on Netflix in 2021 and has already been widely appreciated.

Netflix will also release the final season of Lock and Key on Wednesday, August 10. The series currently stars Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke and Aaron Ashmore. as Duncan Locke. Joining them are Laysla De Oliveira as Dodge, Griffin Gluck as Gabe/Dodge, Perice Jones as Scot, and Hallea Jones as Eden.
“In the upcoming supernatural series, after their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, the Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that can be linked to their father’s death,” reads the synopsis. “As Locke’s children discover different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens – and will stop at nothing to steal them.”
