Three works of art by Rue Gobbee, recipient of the City of Sonoma Creative Student Award in 2022.
2022 Student Creative Artist recipient, Rue Gobbée, will be the guest of honor at a reception on August 6 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Arts Guild of Sonoma, located at 140 East Napa Street. His work will also be on display in the newly renovated Arts Guild of Sonoma gallery during a two-week exhibition on August 3 – 14, 2022.
Mrs. Gobbée is the winner of the 2022 Student Creative Artist award and will major in Graphic Communications at Cal Poly with a focus on visual design in design, management, packaging, and advertising. About the work of Ms. Gobbée, 2D and 3D art of 25 Arts Guild of Sonoma members will be on display.
The reception is open to the public and is the first community exhibition of his work, featuring package designs, cartoon designs, digital images, and more. The exhibit will be presented by the Arts Guild of Sonoma and sponsored by the Sonoma Plein Air Foundation. Refreshments will be served, and music will be played by Big Luv.
