After the end of The Boys Season 3, there are many questions. We’re ready for The Boys Season 4, but it won’t premiere next month.
There’s some bad news when it comes to returning to the world of The Boys. That won’t happen this summer. Of course, we didn’t expect that, considering Season 3 only ended in July!
However, that doesn’t stop us from keeping an eye out for signs of Season 4 of The Boys. We’re keeping an eye out for production to start, which will help us figure out when we might be able to see the series premiere on Prime Video.
When will The Boys Season 4 come to Prime Video?
We’re not expecting The Boys season 4 in 2022 at all. There just isn’t enough time to complete production and editing to bring the full season to this year. We expect 2023 at the earliest.
Normally, Prime Video takes about 14 to 18 months between seasons. With that in mind, we’re anticipating September 2023 at the earliest for the superhero series. A series like this will take around eight months of post-production to get the graphics just right.
We shouldn’t see the delays we’ve seen during the pandemic years. Filming is almost back to normal, and all the existing pandemic protocols are now fairly standard for the TV shows. This is helping bring the filming process back into the original time frame, which was the main reason for the delays in 2020 and 2021.
In terms of storylines, we’re excited to see what’s in store for The Boys and The Seven. There’s a ton of change for both, including The Seven looking for new members and The World coming to terms with an openly psychotic Homelander. What could this mean for the universe?
