The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) recently approved more than $18 million in grants to support Ohio artists, arts and culture organizations, students, educators, and public arts programs through 2023.

Among the local organizations that will receive funding are Holmes Center for the Arts (HCA), Wayne Center for the Arts (WCA), Ohio Light Opera (OLO), and the Buckeye Author Book Fair Committee.

The Arts Partnership supports arts education projects that address the needs of individual learners and their communities. By supporting these projects and programs, the OAC aims to strengthen arts education locally, regionally and statewide. Statewide, 75 arts partnership grants were awarded, totaling $762,545.

Sustainability grants support ongoing arts and cultural activities in all genres. This four-year funding is for a wide range of arts providers in the state. More than 290 sustainability grants were awarded across the state, totaling $14,063,631.
