PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WLOX) – More than 40 vendors gathered for Pass Christian’s Summer Arts and Crafts Bash.

Vendors selling everything from specialty cookies and macaroons to wind chimes, jewelry and handbags have all set up shop at Pine Hills Nursery.

In addition, animals were also honored to the delight of children. The Wild Side Animals exhibit brought kids, turtles and more.

Pass Christian resident and Native American Marion Waltman says the purpose of her booth is to provide an educational experience for toddlers.

“If I sell something, fine. If I don’t, that’s fine too,” Waltman said. “As long as I can entertain the kids with my drums, that’s it.”

The Pine Hills Nursery also hosts a fall festival in October.

Meanwhile, it is open to visitors Monday through Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
