London (CNN Business) A new show about a young woman lawyer has become another South Korean hit on Netflix, giving investors hope that the producer could have another “Squid Game” -like success on his hands.

“Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” a series that follows Woo Young-woo’s titular character as a “beginner in a top law firm with women on the autism spectrum,” has featured a watch list on the streaming platform for the past two weeks.

It is the most-watched non-UK television show on Netflix (NFLX) globally from July 4 to 17, according to company metrics. The show was ranked number one in that category in eight countries, and appeared in the top 10 for 22 countries, Netflix said.

That’s good news for Astory Co., a South Korean studio that is also known for hits such as “Kingdom,” a summer show that isn’t for Netflix.

Shares of the production company rose 74% in Seoul since the debut of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” in late June.

It also bodes well for Netflix, which increasingly produces original international content and tends to growth prospects overseas.

In a blog post Wednesday, Netflix announced the success of the show, stating that it gained traction in locations including Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam after airing in 31 languages.

In recent years, Netflix has directed more firearms overseas, particularly in Asia Pacific, where it continues to see growth assistance offset the decline from other regions.

Just Tuesday, the company reported earnings showing that it had added 1.1 million Asian customers in the second quarter as it lost users in markets such as the United States and Canada.

South Korean content is vital to the streaming giant after the huge success of “Squid Game” last year, which has become the company’s top event globally.
