July 15 (Reuters) – Netflix Inc’s ( NFLX.O ) streaming service is back on after experiencing more than an hour-and-a-half-long outage across all devices, the company said on Friday.
There have been thousands of reports from countries like the US, France and India about Downdetector, which collects status reports from multiple sources.
Netflix had more than 220 million subscribers as of the end of March.

Some users took to Twitter to complain about the absence ruining their Friday night binge-watching plans. To see also : The best sci-fi movies on Prime Video.
“Friday night and @netflix is down! How is your Friday night?”, one user wrote on Twitter.
The outage of Amazon.com’s ( AMZN.O ) cloud services unit temporarily suspended Netflix services in December. The incident also affected Walt Disney’s ( DIS.N ) Disney+, Robinhood, various apps and Amazon.com Inc’s e-commerce website. Read more
Meanwhile, Block Inc’s ( SQ.N ) Square is also facing issues, according to a tracking website.
On Thursday, social media app Twitter ( TWTR.N ) and Meta Platforms ( META.O )-owned Instagram faced a block. The micro-blogging site experienced a service outage of about three hours. Read more
