The City will be hosting the Summer Outdoor Film Night Series starting on July 8th

Summer outdoor movie nights will take place in Mountain View City every Friday night from July 8th to August 12th in some Mountain View parks.

The city expects between 1,000 and 2,500 attendees per event, and guests are encouraged to arrive between 6 and 7:30 p.m. to pick the best spot and watch previews on the 30ft tall display screen.

Here’s a series of films this summer, which will all start at 8:30 p.m. or when it gets dark:

July 8 at Cuesta Park: “Sing 2” (PG)

July 15 at Stevenson Park: “Encanto” (PG)

July 22 at Whisman Park: “Luca” (PG)

July 29 at Sylvan Park: “PAW Patrol: The Movie” (PG)

August 5 at Eagle Park: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” (PG-13)

August 12 at Rengstorff Park: “Space Jam: A New Legacy” (PG)

The summer season brings a wide range of shows to the Performing Arts Center

This summer, the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a full range of different performances.

Shows range from contemporary family-friendly productions such as the Peninsula Youth Theater production of “Frozen Junior” (July 14-17), to World War II stories, such as the Soaring Dragon Endeavors of “White Sky, Falling Dragon” ( August 26 to September 4). Attendees can enjoy a range of music and dance, including elegant ballet in Bayer Ballet Company’s production of “Esmerelda” (August 13 and 14), mastered piano as actor and pianist Hershey Felder returns to TheatreWorks in “Hershey Felder as Monsieur Chopin “(August 19 to September 11), and a number of musical satires in the Lamplighter Music Theater production of Gilbert & amp; Sullivan’s “Iolanthe” (August 6-7). Travel comedy group Socially Inept will be bringing their act back to their original content, as they deal with Silicon Valley tech bros at the “Tech Roast Show” on July 29th. Opera enthusiasts can enjoy Puse Opera ‘s production of Giuseppe Verdi’ s “La Traviata”. on July 10th.
