If there’s one thing video games have taught players, it’s that aliens are scary. Necromorphs, Xenomorphs and The Flood are just some of the scary creatures that exist outside our solar system that want to murder, abduct or both. But in a universe filled with endless possibilities, there must be some nice aliens out there, right?

Fortunately, there is. Movies have shown us that for every Predator or Thing there is also an E. T. or a Stitch. And in video games, there are many examples of aliens that are as friendly as they come. So let’s take a look at the kindest individual aliens in the entire video game!

First seen when Joanna rescues him from Area 51, Elvis is always willing to give her a weapon while doing his best to maintain a cheerful mind. He’s even important to save Joanna’s life at the very end of the game! Watching the two walk away together really shows how close friends they are.

9 Baby Metroid (Metroid)

The titular enemies of the Metroid series are terrifying arthropods that live off the life energy of all living creatures around them. They have no known predators other than Samus Aran, and there is always excitement when you fight one in the game. That’s why it’s so surprising when someone helps you at the end of Super Metroid.

When she exterminated all the Metroids, Samus found one named Baby who she actually kept alive and raised. Eventually Baby wanted to escape, but when Samus was about to die at the hands of Mother Brain, Baby returned. This may interest you : A Novel Effect of Video Gaming on the Brain. 8 Buzz Buzz (Earthbound)

8 Buzz Buzz (Earthbound)

Some aliens are humanoid. Others are insectoids. And some of them are literally just a mistake. Read also : 10 Best Anime -Based Video Games | Eye Watch. But what Buzz Buzz from Earthbound lacks in size, he more than outweighs in strength and kindness. Seriously, how many creatures would travel through time via meteorite to save a completely different species?

What really underscores Buzz Buzz’s kindness is Pokey’s cowardice. While Pokey hides from battle and only thinks of himself, Buzz Buzz will defend people he has just met with a PSI shield, and provide guidance. All this makes his sudden death at the hands of Pokey’s mother, Lardna, even more tragic. Although Buzz Buzz is not a bee, he has one great similarity. He seems small and insignificant, but his impact is greater than anyone could realize.

7 Buddy (Another World)

7 Buddy (Another World)

Another World (or Out Of This World in North America) tells the story of Lester Knight Chaykin, who is sent to another planet after the particle accelerator he experiments with is struck by lightning. After being captured by aliens and imprisoned, Lester meets a prisoner he refers to as Buddy – who more than lives up to his name.

Buddy is always there for Lester, defending him against guards and navigating him through prison at the expense of his own capture. This is sad at first, but pays off when you see him also run parallel to you. This also applies to the big escape at the end, where both Lester and Buddy fly away on the horizon. Buddy is not the most emotional alien here, but his dedication to helping his friend is something everyone can relate to.

6 Abe (Oddworld)

6 Abe (Oddworld)

Mudokons has a sad story. Once the dominant race in Oddworld, they became a race born into slavery after the Glukkons turned on them. And when Abe finds out that his entire breed will turn into ice lollies, he escapes RuptureFarms, the meat processing plant he has always lived in.

But when he escapes and learns the truth about the abuse of his people, Abe returns to save Mudokons from RuptureFarms. Yes, he may be clumsy, gullible and naive, but he still has a heart of gold and will help anyone who needs it. He also literally becomes a Christ-like figure for Mudokons. If you are compared to Jesus, please be kind.

5 The Prince (Katamari Damacy)

Although The Prince is the main character of Katamari Damacy, he has never been in the focus of the audience. That honor has always gone to The King of All Cosmos, who will always tell you that this is the way it should be. But what can not be denied is that the Prince is one of the nicest and most helpful aliens that has ever been.

The whole first game is about how the Prince helps The King of All Cosmos clean up the universe, after destroying all the stars in a drunken stupor. Every game after that, only The Prince fills the requests of all the inhabitants of the earth. It can be argued that the Prince does this just because the King asks him to, or that rolling up these Katamari actually ruins someone’s life, but there’s something about the cute little face that says “I’m here for you and that’s all.” . is going to go well. “And I believe him.

4 Mission Vao (Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic)

To this day, people still cite Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic as their favorite Star Wars game of all time, and it’s easy to see why. The story is incredibly deep, and the different characters are some of the best in the franchise – even including the psychotic assassin droid HK-47 and neutral Jedi Jolee Bindo. But one of the deepest characters is Twi’lek Mission Vao.

Mission Vao is not only the youngest crew member on Ebon Hawk, but also the moral center. Despite the fact that she grew up in the slums of Taris and that her brother has left her, Mission is cheerful. She becomes a beacon of positivity among the crew, and she often befriends people who have a dark or hidden past, such as the main character or Zaalbar the Wookie. This optimism makes her a character that stands out and, more importantly, a forgiving friend.

3 Ratchet (Ratchet and Clank)

It takes a lot to be a hero. You have to be strong, brave and always good. But not all heroes start that way. In Ratchet and Clank, both heroes are remarkably kind people. But while the Clank robot seems to be programmed as the nicest person ever, that was not always the case with the Ratchet.

In their very first match, Ratchet was a jerk. He focused mostly on what would be good for himself, such as getting a hoverboard or getting help repairing his ship. But as the series continued, Ratchet would become kinder to members of each galaxy. Yes, he and Clank want to save the world, but he also wants to take the time to help a plumber or a cook. So even though Ratchet did not really start out as the friendliest alien ever, he eventually matured into the hero we recognize today.

2 Garrus Vakarian (Mass Effect)

The Mass Effect series is filled with various companions you can recruit, befriend and romance. Each of these companions has different positive and negative sides, and although each player has different personal favorites, no one can deny that the best is Garrus Vakarian.

Garrus is a Turian, and is one of the few teammates to help Shephard in all Mass Effect games. He is also another type of friend. Whatever decision you make, he will support you. He will tell you that you are wrong, but he will support you. Garrus is the ride-or-die friend who will stick with you until the end of the universe.

1 Kirby (Kirby)

Kirby is an alien, although most people never think of them this way. They travel from planet to planet on a star, and are even known to operate a mech. However, there is never a question about Kirby’s kindness. Not only are they the friendliest aliens ever, they are probably the friendliest fictional character of all time.

Kirby is the definition of kindness and positivity. When they battle other Nintendo icons in Super Smash Bros., Kirby’s scorn makes them shout “Hello!” while waving their hands. In the Kirby games, Kirby is always sweet to King Dedede every time they defeat him. Kirby is even shaped like a friend! Kirby is simply, adorable and easily the friendliest alien in video games.
