This 4th of July, instead of celebrating the 235th anniversary of our country’s declaration of independence from a tyrannical king, Americans mourned the loss of our most cherished freedoms taken from us by an illegitimate, extremist, right-wing, supermajority in the United States Supreme Court. Wade from the start based on their religious belief that life begins at conception. With this Supreme Court ruling, all people living in anti-abortion states will now be forced to abide by the strict religious dictates of these fanatical Christian fundamentalist sects. While Republicans claim to be the party of small government and individual liberty, they actually use the power of big brother to control the most intimate decisions in our lives.
