Maine’s Acadia National Park near Bar Harbor provides pristine views of Cadillac Mountain and driving Park Loop Road. There are several hiking and biking trails to consider as well. Consider eating at the Jordan Pond House inside the park or going lobstering in the area.

Whether or not you’re a University of Michigan fan or can include attending a home football game at “The Big House” as an item on your bucket list, Ann Arbor in the fall is a perfect time to visit. You can enjoy the fall colors, participate in apple festivals or canoe on the Huron River.

Charlottesville is one of the most idyllic places in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. You have easy access to Skyline Drive for scenic views. Other cultural and historical activities include visiting Monticello, walking the lawn at the University of Virginia and wineries. Film fans can also enjoy the 2022 Virginia Film Festival from November 2-6, 2022.

For a memorable south coast experience, you may consider staying on Jekyll Island in Georgia. There are many beach spots, bike paths and museums to explore. You may also consider taking a carriage ride to view the historic homes of some of America’s elite from a bygone era.

Asheville can be a trip to the Appalachians and, specifically, the Blue Ridge Mountains. Luxury travelers may consider staying at the Omni Grove Park Inn, which overlooks the city. They can also visit the Biltmore Estate.
