Just weeks after FOX Sports signed a deal to broadcast MLS games for the next four years, FOX signed another soccer rights deal. This time, FOX Sports has acquired the rights to the Coupe de France in the United States to bring the French Cup matches to viewers.
Coupe de France rights are marketed by the French Football Federation (FFF). This is a separate rights deal for the French Ligue 1, which is managed by the LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel).
In the Coupe de France, the competition is open to all French football clubs. For the 2022/23 season, the cup saw more than 7,000 clubs participate in all qualifying rounds. The Round of 64 kicks off on January 6 (see the Coupe de France schedule for more details).
Where FOX Sports Coupe de France games will air
Football fans interested in watching Coupe de France games will find plenty on several FOX channels. Most games televised on FOX Soccer Plus, followed by fewer on FS2. Still, it’s a chance for football fans to see giants like Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Marseille battle smaller sides. For example, PSG travel to the road to play LB Châteauroux, a team in the third tier of French football. Meanwhile, fourth-tier Hyères FC take on Marseille this weekend.

beIN SPORTS previously held the rights to Coupe de France matches in the United States, but the deal closed in late 2022. While FOX Sports will begin broadcasting Coupe de France matches later this week, beIN SPORTS still holds the rights to the spectator competition in Canada.
