Just one thing, I want to win all three parts of the game.

I may really need a pep talk to get me through these decisions. I pick directly on games, against the spread and then make my best bet each week. It seems like every week there is one area I struggle with.

Last week I was with my best bets as part of the Pick Six podcast. I went 2-4, which dropped my overall record to .500 to 17-17. I went 9-5 with my smart choices and only 7-7 with my right choices. That brings my ATS record to 42-47-4 and 50-43-1 right up.

It’s time to play a perfect game. It’s time to win all three categories, even if the exact score is the same as the special teams.

New Orleans Saints (+1.5) at Arizona Cardinals

These two are one of the worst upsets of the season. The Cardinals couldn’t score, which was supposed to be this team‘s strong suit. The Saints have some defensive issues, which was expected to be a strong position. So what does it get? I think the Saints defense will be the best, even with the return of DeAndre Hopkins for the Cardinals.

Special Games | Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns

These two are off to a late start, but the Ravens have lost three games by double digits in the second half. That doesn’t happen here. Lamar Jackson is going to have a big game against a Cleveland defense that is bad right now. It won’t come close.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11) at Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are a mess right now and are not sure who the quarterback will be this week. Like it’s important. Tampa Bay is coming off a bad loss to the Steelers, which showed a poor performance. That will change here. The Bucs will bounce back from that road loss, even though they are playing back-to-back road games.

Atlanta Falcons at Cincinnati Bengals (-6)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Special Games | Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons

This is a big game for these two teams. The Falcons are coming off an impressive home win over the 49ers and are 3-3. They are a difficult team to defend because of the way they play. It looks like the Bengals will be right, not good for the Falcons. The Bengals exploded in their passing game behind Joe Burrow.

Detroit Lions at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Special Games | Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions

This is the return of Dak Prescott for the Cowboys at quarterback. It couldn’t happen to a better team. Leona, who is coming up behind, is badly injured by the bus. Look for Prescott to get the passing game down for the Cowboys, better than Cooper Rush.

New York Giants at Jacksonville Jaguars (-3)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Special Games | Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants

The Jaguars are more than a 5-1 team. That sounds strange. But Jacksonville is easily 4-2 rather than 2-4. The Giants have won by running the ball and playing defense. The Jaguars have pass-defense issues, which aren’t reflected in the Giants’ offense. Look for Jacksonville to beat the Giants. The naysayers are right.

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (-2.5)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Special Games | Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Titans, who are visiting, beat the Colts three weeks ago. The Colts won a tough game against the Jaguars last week, but now they’re headed up against a team that has strong football against them and Derrick Henry . The Titans will do that again here to hold on to the division.

Green Bay Packers at Washington Commanders (+5.5)

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Special Games | Washington Commanders vs. Green Bay Packers

The Packers have lost two straight and the football hasn’t been good. They rest here because Carson Wentz is going to Washington. That means Taylor Heinicke is at quarterback. Green Bay’s defense has been very tough against the run, which will help the Commanders. This could mean a big day for Brian Robinson Jr.. But I think the Packers will win on a tough day.

New York Jets at Denver Broncos (-1)

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Special Games | Denver Broncos and New York Jets

The Jets are playing in their second straight game after being upset by the Packers last week. There should be a common error. And the Broncos are in desperate need of a win. That’s a bad combination. The defense is playing well for the Broncos, but they can’t score. In this one, I look for the defense to get the best of the Jets. Denver has taken it.

Houston Texans at Las Vegas Raiders (-7)

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Special Games | Las Vegas Raiders vs. Houston Texans

This is a game with two teams coming up. The Raiders are a surprising 1-4, but they’ve been in most of those games. The Texans beat the Jaguars last time out, but they are limited on offense to stay in this one. Las Vegas to take.

Seattle Seahawks (+6.5) at Los Angeles Chargers

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Special Games | Los Angeles Chargers vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Chargers have won three straight games, but have not been very good at doing so. The offense just didn’t click. But Seattle’s defense, which played well last week against Arizona, isn’t good. This is a game for Justin Herbert to hit some shots downfield. The problem is that Seattle can run and the Chargers can’t stop the run. The Seahawks will hang around.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3) at San Francisco 49ers

Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Special Games | San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

This is one of the best games of the week, a rerun of the Super Bowl from a few years ago. But it shows two losing teams. The Chiefs offense against the 49ers defense will be interesting to watch. I don’t think the 49ers will be slowed by too many injuries on that side of the ball. Look for Patrick Mahomes to get back on track.

Pittsburgh Steelers (+7) at Miami Dolphins

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Special Games | Miami Dolphins vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

This is the return of Tua Tagovailoa for the Dolphins at quarterback. The Steelers will likely have Mitch Trubisky back to start in place of the injured Kenny Pickett, although there is a chance that Pickett could play if he recovers from the concussion. The Steelers defense was good last week, but the Dolphins haven’t been good on that side of the ball this season. Look for the Steelers to stop this one, but the Dolphins win.

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots (-7.5)

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, FuboTV)

Special Games | New England Patriots vs. Chicago Bears

The Bears had 10 days off after the games last Thursday, but the Patriots returned to the country after they beat the Browns. New England has made great strides on the defensive side of the ball. That will show against a poor Bears offense that is limited in the passing game. On offense, Bailey Zappe or Mac Jones, whoever plays, will do everything in the passing game. The Pats will win big.
