TMRW Sports, which focuses on creating breakthroughs in sports, media, and entertainment, has announced its next wave of key staff opportunities. The announcement was made by Mike McCarley, the founder and CEO of TMRW Sports (“sports of tomorrow”). McCarley and co-founders Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy created TMRW Sports and announced the company’s first project, TGL, after nearly two years of development.

Scott Armstrong, Vice President, Sports & Technology Innovation – Scott Armstrong has spent over 20 years paving the way for sports and media organizations to create and deliver organizations to lead new solutions. Growing up as the son of a PGA Tour player, Armstrong has a knowledge of golf of sorts combined with a unique image on the air and technology. In his role with TMRW Sports, he led the planning and integration of technology partners, as well as the development of TGL sports.

Prior to TMRW Sports, Armstrong was the Director of Tournament Graphics at the Golf Channel where he oversaw the on-air graphics and technology for several major tournaments. Under Armstrong’s leadership, the Golf Channel won the race to be the first to show live club/ball information; the first to reveal the living heart of the player; and the first to be able to track golf plays on all 18 holes. Armstrong’s foray into golf and other technology began on the PGA TOUR during the launch of ShotLink, their current branding process, where he led as the main liaison between the PGA TOUR and media partners in the creation of the ShotLink information display.

Marysol Fuhr de Blanch, Vice President, People and Culture – Marysol Fuhr de Blanch is a bilingual professional with over 16 years of experience in sports, entertainment, retail , technology, and nonprofits. As a certified employee and change management professional, he has a track record of building and growing start-up organizations, as well as implementing and managing people strategies.

Prior to joining TMRW Sports, Fuhr de Blanch served as the HR Director for Orlando SC, a Major League Soccer club in Orlando and the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League. During his Human Resources leadership, Orlando City SC was awarded 2020 Best Front Office by Front Office Sports and 2020 Best Places to Work by Orlando Business Journal, while guiding the club through the COVID pandemic, the launch of MLS Next Pro league. and a change of ownership. While at Orlando City SC, Fuhr de Blanch partnered with a local university to provide diversity, equity, and inclusion curriculum to improve a work environment.

Jon Kropp, Vice President, Digital Media – Jon Kropp is a longtime sports media leader who has spent his career in key roles helping four sports media brands manage and thrive in a rapidly changing landscape. As TMRW Sports’ Vice President, Digital Media, Kropp leads the company’s digital and social strategy.

Prior to joining TMRW Sports, Kropp served four years as Golf Channel’s Vice President, Digital Media where he was responsible for overseeing strategic planning. development and operations to expand Golf Channel’s extensive network of digital and visual media offerings. Under Kropp’s leadership, the network expanded its advertising offerings, created new online video content and introduced sports betting. Kropp also discussed digital partnerships with golf clubs and media leaders.

Previously, Kropp spent more than 15 years as a Turner Sports executive, immersed in various aspects of the organization’s sports media, including PGATOUR.com and PGA.com. Kropp was Vice President of Planning and Marketing for Turner Sports where he led the execution of Turner’s strategic plans and negotiated sports television and media rights. He was instrumental in 15 media deals, including the company’s rights deals with the NCAA, Major League Baseball, NBA, Yahoo! Sports, NASCAR, and the PGA of America, represent an investment of more than $20 billion.

Chad Read, Vice President, Brand & Creative Director – Chad Read joins TMRW Sports as Vice President, Brand & Creative after more than 17 years as a creative leader in the advertising, entertainment, and video game industries.

Most recently, Read served as Creative Director for Red Rocket Studios where he oversaw all creative content for some of the world’s largest brands in fitness, health, food service, lifestyle and technology landscape. Prior to that Read spent over ten years at the Golf Channel where, as Vice President, Brand & Creative, he was responsible for leading the entire development and provision of all basic functions for events, marketing, promotion, digital, print, production, and on air advertising. Prior to his time at Golf Channel, Read held executive positions at Sun Sports/Fox Sports Florida and AWE Games.

Kaitie Richardson, Manager, Administration and Culture – Kaitie Richardson brings more than 10 years of experience to TMRW Sports in organizational support and development, human resources, and DEI planning. In his role at TMRW Sports, Richardson is responsible for organizing technical support, developing the company’s people and organizational culture, and managing key business functions.

Prior to joining TMRW Sports, Richardson held several positions in the technology and banking sectors. Most recently, he worked as a business partner of employees and various leaders for Stax Payments, a leading credit card processing company in the FinTech industry where he provided valuable services to over 100 employees. , while developing and implementing DEI’s general plans in North America.

Richardson is a former Division I track and field athlete and 3-time Junior Olympian who currently coaches a team local high school sports and serves on the Leadership Advisory Council for All Schools.
