Jamal Crawford works as an NBA analyst for various Warner Bros. on Discovery Sports platforms.

Warner Bros. Jamal Crawford – one of the NBA’s most respected playmakers – has agreed to a multi-year contract that will see Kia’s three-time NBA Sixth Man as an NBA analyst on TNT and NBA, Discovery Sports has announced. TV and social media platforms.

As part of his new role, Crawford will serve as NBA’s regular studio analyst on TNT Tuesday alongside Shaquille O’Neal, Candace Parker and Adam Lefkoe. The NBA is TNT’s Tuesday franchise, a two-time Sports Emmy winner for Outstanding Interactive Experience (Original Programming), returns weekly beginning in January.

Starting later this month, Crawford will be featured regularly on NBA TV’s Center Court. The weekly franchise, which kicks off on Thursday, October 27, will be the network’s night of live broadcasts, featuring enhanced viewing options such as unique camera angles, next-generation analytics and social media integration into originally produced TV shows. He also appears regularly on NBA TV’s signature studio show, NBA GameTime.

NBA Twitter Live’s coverage of NBA Opening Night on Tuesday, Oct. 18 will be Crawford’s first appearance of the season. Crawford — one of the NBA’s most active voices on Twitter — also contributes to select games throughout the season.

Crawford played in the NBA for two decades, being one of the most outstanding ball handlers, scorers and teammates. Crawford was named NBA Sixth Man of the Year three times with the LA Clippers – 2010, 2014 and 2016, tied with Lou Williams for the most all-time in NBA history. He was also named the 2018 Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year with the Clippers.

Among his many accomplishments, Crawford finished his career ranked 58th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list while recording the most four-pointers in NBA history (55). In his final full season with the Phoenix Suns in 2019, Crawford became the oldest player in NBA history to record a 50-point game and the only player to accomplish the feat with four different franchises. His 51 points were also the most ever in a game by a reserve. Crawford is currently eighth in the NBA in three-pointers made (2,221).

Originally a first-round pick in the 2000 NBA draft out of Michigan, Crawford played for the Chicago Bulls (2000-2004), New York Knicks (2004-2008), Golden State Warriors (2008-2009), Atlanta Hawks (2009-2011). ), Portland Trail Blazers (2011-12), Clippers (2012-17), Minnesota Timberwolves (2017-18), Suns (2018-19) and Brooklyn Nets (2019-20).

Last season, Crawford was a guest analyst on select nights on TNT and NBA TV and served as a commentator for NBA Hooper Vision via NBA League Pass.

Crawford is a community leader and philanthropist in her native Seattle, hosting annual backpack giveaways and free basketball clinics. He coaches youth basketball and is proud to mentor young basketball players in the Seattle area. Crawford’s prestigious Pro-Am league, Crawsover, is a Seattle community summer competition that brings together elite athletes from across the Northwest.
