A look at what’s going on at Cleveland State Athletics…

Men’s Soccer-The Vikings will continue Horizon League play with a pair of road games this week, traveling to IUPUI on Wednesday, September 28 and Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday, October 1.

-Cleveland State went 1-0-1 in their two games last week, tying No. 15 Ohio State 0-0 and defeating Milwaukee 4-3.

-After five weeks, Bojan Kolevski and Pablo Kawecki lead the league in points with 12, each scoring five goals and adding two assists.

Women’s Soccer-Cleveland State will play one game this week, traveling to Wright State on Saturday, October 1.

-The Vikings went 1-1-0 last week, highlighted by a 1-0 shutout against Northern Kentucky on Alumni Day, when CSU welcomed 20+ alumni back to Krenzler Field.

-Maddie Young scored the lone goal of the week for the Vikings, marking her team-leading fourth goal of the season.

Volleyball-Cleveland State will split its time at home and on the road this week, traveling to Robert Morris for a midweek game on Tuesday, September 27, before hosting Oakland on Saturday, October 1.

-Last time out, the Vikings went 1-2 to start #HLVB play, including a five-set win at Youngstown State in the league opener.

– With six digs against Wright State last Friday, senior Audrey McConihe reached the 1,000 dig mark for her career, entering the week with a total of 1,014 digs.

Cross Country – After taking a week off from competition, the Vikings will return to action at the Notre Dame Invite on Friday, September 30.

-Last time, the Vikings participated in the All-Ohio Championships, with speed runner Hannah Korte, who finished 14th among Division I runners with a 5K time of 19:11.

Men’s Golf-Cleveland State will be back in action next week, when the Vikings host the annual Tom Tontimonia Invitational on Monday, October 3 and Tuesday, October 4 at Lakewood Country Club.
