SIOUX CITY (KTIV) — It’s already halfway through the high school football season as teams wrap up the fifth week of action on the gridiron.

Each week, teams continue to show off game-changing through passes, touchdowns, interceptions, and more.

Starting the Sports Fource Rewind right here in Sioux City, Sioux City North’s Demarco Young fights his way through defenders to run it 22 yards before being stopped just short of the goal line.

How about Dakota Valley with a deep throw to Randy Rosenquist who gets the hold on the bounding catch inside the 30.

At the Dakota Dome, Hayden Christopherson backs up and shoots Connor Larson who has nothing but green grass ahead of him as he carries him to the touchdown in the Tangagers shutout victory.

Now at South Dakota, Flandreau is looking to last long on the first play of his practice, but that pass is tipped and then caught by EPJ’s Ashton Fairbanks to help the Huskies stay undefeated.

Up to Hull, Kaden VanRegenmorter of Western Christian backs up, looks around, shoots Chandler Pollema who gets a big catch and hangs on to traffic for a Wolfpack first.

The Le Mars Bulldogs pass to Connor Jalas and go on runs with a 42-yard touchdown, even throws the stiff arm as he heads for the end zone.

At Remsen, Alex Schroeder gets his hands on the rock, cuts down the middle to find an open right lane and he fires up the jets for the score as Remsen St. Mary’s wins 63-0.

Finally, Homer’s Austin Baker was going to see his man all night. He finds Avery Overfelt running all over the field as he mistakes him for one of his many touchdowns of the night.
