Altitude Sports and Air Force Athletics announced today that they have entered into a multi-year broadcasting partnership. This two-year agreement will bring select Air Force games to Altitude’s 10-state region during the 2023-24 school year, once again demonstrating its continued commitment to local and regional content. Altitude’s broadcast schedule includes a selection of mutually agreed-upon games, including up to 10 men’s basketball games, 10 ice hockey games, at least one women’s basketball game, and one soccer game, if available upon selection of the Mountain West national television rights holders. The men’s and women’s basketball and soccer games will also be available digitally on GoAirForceFalcons.com and the Mountain West Network, including TheMW.com, the MW app, and Stadium platforms. The hockey games will be available on GoAirForceFalcons.com and FloHockey.TV. The Altitude-Air Force partnership kicks off on Saturday, September 3 at 11 a.m. with the broadcast of the NCAA season opener as the Falcons take on Northern Iowa. Schedules for other sports are yet to be announced. “We are very proud to be associated with the Air Force Academy,” said Matthew Krol, VP & General manager of Altitude Sports. “Adding a premier NCAA Division One program to our broadcast schedule will allow fans in our area to see more Falcons games and learn more about what the Service Academy offers its cadets. The Air Force competes at a high level every year, and we’re watching Looking forward to bringing great Mountain West, Atlantic Hockey and National games to our network.” “This is a very exciting day for Falcon Nation, our partnership with Altitude Sports will provide Air Force fans with more and better television coverage in our region,” said Nathan Pine, Air Force e Director of Athletics. “Altitude Sports is home to Nuggets, Avalanche, Rapids and Mammoth television broadcasts and it is only fitting that we now include some Falcon broadcasts in that programming. The exposure and cross-promotion opportunities are critical to our brand, as we continue to raise the profile of Air Force Athletics both regionally and nationally, this was made possible by a change in Mountain West’s tier three broadcasting rights, which have now been returned to individual schools to form strategic partnerships such as those the Air Force has built with Altitude Sports.” Currently, Altitude is available on DIRECTV and DIRECTV Stream, Charter Communications, Evoca, and other cable providers in a 10-state region, including Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, South Dakota, Wyoming, and Utah.
