STAMFORD, Conn. – July 28, 2022 – One week from today, NBC Sports began its coverage of the 2022 NFL season with the 2022 Hall of Fame Game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. Coverage begins Thursday, Aug. 4, on NBC and Peacock with Football Night in America at 7 p.m. ET followed by coverage of the game at 8 p.m. ET.

Calling the preseason contest will be the newly announced Sunday Night Football team of Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark, with Terry McAulay serving as rules analyst. It will be the first time the team will call a game together.

Football Night, the most watched studio show in sports, will be on location in Canton for the first time. The Football Night team of Maria Taylor, Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, Jason Garrett, Chris Simms, Jac Collinsworth and Mike Florio will present player and coach interviews, a preview of the game and the 2022 NFL season, and celebrate the players who are inducted into the Hall. of Fame that weekend.
