Most people have rhythm built into their DNA. Music stimulates them emotionally and physically. Music is a powerful force that can speak to the soul.

Watch people listen to a great Michael Jackson song or a Strauss waltz, and in no time, they’ll turn any empty space into a dance floor, dancing alone. or surprise them if they are lucky enough to be with someone. who shares his love of music and dance.

Test yourself if you have rhythm in you. See if a few types of music of any kind affect your mood and make you self-conscious.

Do you want to see a real dance in beauty? Watch a video on youtube titled “Old Movie Stars Dance to Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars. It’s this amazingly edited and well-sorted YouTube video of Hollywood stars from the golden age of yesteryear, showing true dancing talent. I just love watching the fusion of dance talent and modern rhythms. The video editor, whoever it is, deserves credit. Thank you!

Fred Astaire, in my opinion, is incomparable. There will never be another Astaire in the world who can take the dance floor and make it look easy. Sigh… The music he played seemed to have entered his bones. But such perfection of movement did not come without a price. He must have trained until his bones and muscles were exhausted at the end of each training day crying for mercy. He must have burned so much energy that he had a slim body and light legs.

But we don’t need to be such a good player to enjoy the music and move to its rhythm. Dancing is fun. If you’re looking for a real reason to “break the moves” as they say, dancing is really good exercise and fun!

Exercise, as you know, is one of the 2 ways (laughter is the other) that the body naturally produces endorphins – the happy, healthy hormone that exists, the best medicine for best for body and soul. We all have it within us and it is completely free.

So go ahead, even if you have two left feet, and you tend to step on your partner’s feet when you dance. Throw away your inhibitions and have FUN! Let the music move you. With repetition and practice, you may one day be surprised at how to dance.

Limit the time you spend online. We spend most of our time reading and consuming toxic content on the internet that destroys and destroys the joy of our souls during our time here on earth. Kick back and listen to the music while you cook, clean your car, clean the garage or do other mind-blowing tasks.

If all else fails, start mumbling while you work. My cousin, who has been a dentist for decades, used to sing while working on the mouths of his patients. He enjoyed his work and it showed the quality of what he did. The music just came out of him. When her husband was still alive, they hit the dance floor whenever they could.

Music makes things easier when difficult tasks are being done. If you’re doing a mental task like writing or an exam that requires intense concentration and you tend to get distracted easily, listen to soft, uncluttered instrumental music so the words don’t get in the way.

On hot summer nights when it’s hard to sleep and the wind is blowing, listen and fall asleep to beautiful rain sounds on your smartphone. It’s hypnotic. This beats taking dangerous sleep aids that have horrible side effects.

However, not all music is soothing. Choose wisely. There is a smorgasbord of music to choose from and like anything else, our choice determines the outcome. It is no wonder that young people who have grown up listening to what is called a type of music with boring, raspy, energetic sounds that focus on the side of life such as blood, sex, violence, gang culture and other perversions until now. far from good.

It was said that there were many types of heavenly music of the multitude of angels floating above the stable in Bethlehem at the time when Christ was born more than two thousand years ago. I think they may have been musical versions of Handel’s “Messiah”.

Was there music in the garden of Eden? Maybe yes, before sin came and Eden got darker and darker. And if you are alive and trying to go to heaven, you may wonder if there will be music and dancing there again.

If lightness and freedom from the shackles of gravity and the worries of the world characterize life beyond death, the answer may be a resounding YES.

So while you are alive and your body and limbs are working well, dance with abandon while letting the beautiful music move you. It’s just a guess but I have a feeling there will be a lot of dancing on the big sky dance floor as you bust out your sky moves in the conga line.

Stand aside, Fred. You have some stiff competition up there.
