Flip the Frog will sing Grafton’s Music In The Park Thursday, July 14, The Grove Memorial Park.

GRAFTON – Not only is Music In The Park in full swing, there is now a new series of music that you can enjoy at the confluence of rivers.

A series of free Grafton Music In The Park concerts continue at The Grove Memorial Park until Aug. 11, from 7-9 p.m. Every Thursday. The coming days are July 14 with Flip the Frog; July 21, Jake Weber and Lonesome Drifters; July 28, Hookie; Aug. 4, Georgie Portz and Friends of Bluegrass; le, Aug. 11, Tanglefoot. Dee’s Riverside Retreat, 1446 W. Main St., has live music open to the public throughout the summer every Sunday beginning at 7pm; doors open at 6 p.m. with the sounds of DJ 705. Dates are July 31 with Ife Jacob and Electik Soul; Aug. 14, Coleman Hughes Project; le, Aug. 28, Cheryl Carter and Groov-Junkeez. Tickets cost $ 20- $ 25 at the door. The newly renovated Grafton Chamber of Commerce restores Business After Hours, networking, open and free access from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, Grafton Winery, Main Street.

If you are interested in geographical history, do not miss “George Caleb Bingham The River Paintings,” a special event at the Grafton Visitor Center, 950 East Main St. A program with slide shows in “The River Paintings,” by art. historian Dee Kilgo, is from 7-8 p.m. Friday 22 July. This event is open to the public and is free to attend. Accommodation is limited, so come quickly and sit back. The food will follow a program run by the Grafton Tourism / Marketing Committee.
