“No Time” and “Say Nun” out now, with more singles and a mix tape to come; Father of three is in a relationship with “American Idol” finalist Lady K.
Life is good today for rap artist Montgomery Brewer Heights CeCe. At 24, he is a father of three, is in a love affair, and has new music on the way.
But four years ago, he almost lost it all. To see also : Music from the song “Lion King”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, performed at Detroit’s Redford Theater.
“By the end of 2018, I was shot nine times,” CeCe said. “It was a big change in my life.”
At that time, CeCe began to find its own development in music. He said the shooter was an acquaintance from the school, and was filled with jealousy and hatred.
“He wanted to stop everything I was going through,” CeCe said.
CeCe survived, but he had to physically build up.
“It was so hard, I won’t lie to you,” CeCe said. “I had to learn how to walk again, talk again, eat again. I was originally a baby.”
Sitting there, with his mouth closed for a month and a half, CeCe admits he has lost his passion for music. All his energy was to regain the use of his body.
“I couldn’t even speak,” he said. “A lot of music wasn’t there at the time.”
He will later recover from his 2021 song “Humble.”
“Going through all that and where I am now is really a good thing,” CeCe said.
These days, CeCe is walking, talking and singing. The passion for music is back.
He and Montgomery “American Idol” are in a relationship with Lady K in the top 10.
“He’s very supportive and understanding. We encourage each other,” Lady K said of CeCe, speaking to the advertiser in May.
CeCe said he and Lady K are enjoying a new life and times.
As a father, CeCe said that if one of his children eventually becomes interested in the music business, he will have no problem with it. He will support them, no matter which path they take.
“But, I don’t want them to base their lives on‘ Let me try to take over my father’s legacy, ”CeCe said. “I want all my children to grow up and live their lives.”

CeCe’s latest songs are “Timeless” (including RR TJayy), and ‘Say Nun. This may interest you : Burning Music marked 20 years with 100 number 1.
“(” Say Nun “) is about anyone who has ever experienced something just trying to fix it, and not getting it right,” CeCe said. “It came mostly from the side of the struggle, whoever really went through the struggle.”
It is called struggle. When he rapes, he passes it on to people in his community.
“When we grow up we are Black and where we come from, towards the city we come from,” he said.
He began to enjoy making music as a teenager, growing up in the Twin Gates surrounded by mostly men. He spent a lot of time outside of the free structure.
“That eventually led to the studio,” CeCe said.
A lot of dude is in the works, but he also plans to release a mixed tape.
“I don’t want to take a long break without losing a fan,” he said.
