The award-winning British rock band Kasabian, known for their impressive live performances, has released a brand new music video for their single “Chemicals”, the third track from their upcoming album The Alchemist’s Euphoria, which will be out on August 5 Records Colombia.

The music video, which has already amassed tens of thousands of views on Youtube, was shot in the middle of the night in Leicester, England, Kasabian’s hometown. The lead guitar and atmospheric synthesizer, combined with the numerous wacky visuals, give the music video “Chemicals” an almost otherworldly presentation.

In a press release, Kasabian singer and songwriter Sergio Pizzorno described the deep and personal significance of the lyrics for their new single, stating: “I tell myself it will be okay. I was the one who saw myself in those few weeks when it all started. It’s the future that I say to this person, “That’s shit, but don’t worry, it’ll get better.” So I think having a song about talking to yourself is universal. We all need to find a way to deal with the complications, clutter and mortality of life. “
