Music lovers from Boulder County and beyond are invited to attend the first-ever Lafayette Music Festival this fall.

On October 8, the inaugural event will take place at five music venues across the city and will feature a bevy of live musical performances ranging from rock to R&B.

The Lafayette Music Festival is the brainchild of Rock for the People, a local nonprofit organization focused on building an inclusive live music community in Lafayette.

Although a lineup has not yet been released, attendees can expect a full day of musical entertainment, taking place at local venues including Nissi’s Entertainment Venue, The Arts HUB, Muse Performance Space, Tier Two Live at Confluence Garage and The End Lafayette.

One wristband will allow entry to all five venues and offer discounts at shops and restaurants throughout the city.

According to a press release from the festival organizers, lineup and ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
