A building permit application has been submitted to the Miami Department of Buildings for the Lynq Wynwood (formerly known as Wyn on 5th) office building.
Developers previously said the project would be the best office complex in Miami.
The project consists of a north and south building across the street from each other, both on 8 floors.
The two buildings will have a combined 36,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and 331,000 square feet of office space.
Each building will also have a covered parking garage, with 370 spaces in the south garage and 265 spaces in the north garage.
According to a May press release, the developers have received the necessary approvals to proceed with construction.
The project was reviewed by the Wynwood Design Review Board and the Urban Design Review Board in February and March.
Detailed building permits are pending with the Miami Department of Buildings as of July 22nd, meaning that planning documents have not yet been filed. The developer chooses to use a private browser to develop the project, the release shows.
Juneau Construction is listed as the contractor.
DERM data shows that at the end of July permits were also issued for drainage wells at the north and south tower construction sites.
RAL Development and TriStar Capital are the developers. Arquitectonica is the architect.
