OLYMPIA – The Washington State Department of Health has imposed sanctions or sanctions on the following health professionals in our state.

The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division department works with boards, commissions, and steering committees to set standards for licensing more than 80 health professionals (for example, dentists, nurses, counselors). Click on “Apply for a health care license” in “What to do?” part of the website of the Department of Health (doh.wa.gov). This site includes information on the quality of health care services, expiration and date of update of their records, disciplinary actions and copies of legal documents published after July 1998. This information is also available by calling 360-236-4700. Consumers who feel that the health care provider has acted unfairly are encouraged to call and voice their complaint.

Notice to Editors: Health care workers accused of misconduct have 20 days to respond to the Department of Health and in writing. The issue then goes into resolution. If no punitive agreement can be reached, the case goes to court.
