Anthony Wolverton, owner of SERVPRO of Augusta/Waterville, received the Millionaire Gold Award at SERVPRO’s 53rd Annual Convention, 5-9. through July at the Hilton Anatole Dallas in Dallas, Texas.

Golden Pond Wealth Management welcomes a new member

WATERVILLE — Chelsey Oliver has joined Golden Pond Wealth Management as a relationship manager.

He started at the bank in 1999 as a teller and has worked in several customer service and office management positions at the bank.

AUGUSTA – Kennebec Savings Bank President and CEO Andrew Silsby recently announced the hiring of Kris Avery as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer.

Avery joins the bank with more than 25 years of extensive HR experience in financial services, higher education and aviation. He most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President at Saint Joseph’s College, where he oversaw the development and implementation of the college’s HR strategy. According to a bank press release, he has also served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Financial Institutions Service Corporation, where he was responsible for managing all human resources activities and leading the customer relations function.

“I am excited to be a part of the Kennec savings team and to serve our employees in this HR role,” said Avery. “The bank has a long history of investing in its people as an employer of choice. He is a board member of Northeast Delta Dental and Delta Dental Plan of Maine, where he chairs the corporate governance committee. He also serves on the SHRM Maine State Council Board. Avery was inducted into the Maine Human Resources Hall of Fame in 2011 and was recognized as Maine’s 2010 HR Manager of the Year.
