Chad Alexander, President of the South Region of First Bank & Trust, announced Jessica Chavez’s recent promotion to investment banker. Chavez will have offices at the Odessa location at 7281 Tres Hermanas Boulevard.

“Jessica has been an integral member of the FBT team for many years and has shown her talent for corporate banking,” says Alexander. “She will be a valuable resource for our corporate clients in her new role.”

Born in Big Spring, Chavez moved to Odessa when she was a toddler and has stayed ever since. Her career in banking began in 2004 and since then Jessica has worked in a variety of roles to hone her skills in customer service, operations, corporate banking, private banking and lending. She has been part of the First Bank & Trust team since 2010. She currently studies at the University of Texas Permian Basin and is pursuing a degree in business.

In addition to her career and continuing her education, Jessica serves as secretary to the board of directors of the local non-profit Harmony Home Children’s Advocacy Center. She also remains active in her church. She has three children whom she calls her three best friends and her plans to marry her fiancé David in October means she will add another daughter to the family.
