Somehow, August is already halfway over, which means autumn is just around the corner. But whatever you think about the upcoming colder weather, the one good thing is that Netflix will continue to add new movies and series to their lineup to get us through it all.

This week, the streaming service is adding a new drama/romance, a new season of an animated series, and the next film in a steamy film series.

First up is Look Both Ways. The film follows a young woman on two paths her life may take. If the pregnancy test she takes is positive, we get to see her life go one way, and if it’s negative, her life is completely different. I’m sure there are many people who can relate to this scenario.

The film arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 and stars Lili Reinhart, Danny Ramirez, Aisha Dee, Luke Wilson, Nia Long, Jaden Tolliver, Andrea Savage and David Corenswet.

Take a look at the trailer here:

Part 2 of The Cuphead Show is also heading to Netflix this week on Friday the 19th. August. The first installment premiered in February 2022, so fans have had to wait six months for this second batch of episodes.

The animated series is based on the popular video game and follows the adventures of Cuphead and his brother Mugman. The brothers were only in prison thanks to their “friend” Chalice, but that doesn’t mean she’s completely out of their lives, or that they won’t get into more shenanigans now that they’re free.

This week also brings The Next 365 Days. It’s coming to Netflix on Friday the 19th. August and continues the erotic, steamy and always problematic story of the 365 Days series. I’ve seen the last two movies so I’m not judging anyone.

The films are based on a book series by Blanka Lipinski. This should technically be the last of the movies since there are only three books in the series, but with Netflix you never know.

The film will once again follow Laura and Mossimo as they continue their whirlwind romance. The last we saw of them, Laura was pregnant and had just been shot.

Based on the trailer, she survived, but it doesn’t look like the baby did. Mossimo is going to be more protective than ever and Laura is going to fight him every step of the way.

Oh and Nacho are back, which is going to cause all kinds of trouble for the couple. And, of course, because this is 365 days, there will be lots of sex scenes.

This week also sees Season 3 of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe on Thursday, August 18, Royalteen on Wednesday, August 17 and Echoes on Friday, August 19. August.
