Netflix has formed a multi-year partnership with Indian filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, who will develop and produce upcoming projects for the streamer under their D2R Films production banner.
The pair already have a relationship with the streamer as producers of the 2021 Telugu-language film Cinema Bandi, currently streaming on Netflix, and Guns & Guns & Gulaabs, which is left out of the deal.

Mostly working on Hindi content Raj & DK is known for writing and directing genre-bending films including the indie drama Shor In The City (2010), the stoner comedy Go Goa Gone (2013) and the horror comedy Stree (2018), which he co-wrote with director Amar Kaushik.
They also wrote and directed two seasons of the popular Hindi web series The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee as a spy who is thought to be a boring pen pusher by his family, for Amazon Prime Video India.
