Last week saw the release of The Boys season 3 finale. That means we now have to wait for the new season. How long will that wait be?
We’d love nothing more than to say that there’s a new episode of The Boys tonight. However, that doesn’t happen. The Season 3 finale aired last week and that means we’re on a hiatus. These interruptions can be long, but we don’t expect this one to be as long as the previous one.
The wait for season 3 was much longer than initially expected. The pandemic delayed filming, meaning it was more difficult to get the episodes released before the end of 2021. If it was a normal year, we probably wouldn’t have seen an almost two-year wait for episodes.
What about season 4? At least we know Season 4 is coming, but we need to know when the new episodes will be on Prime Video.
When will The Boys Season 4 premiere on Prime Video?
We don’t have a date yet. As we mentioned, we expect a shorter wait than the one for Season 3. We’ll probably see something like the wait between Season 1 and 2. That wait is about 14 months, which is pretty standard for a Prime Video series. Sometimes the wait is extended to 18 months which is reasonable for some of the bigger shows.
With that in mind, we’ll be looking to late summer or early fall 2023 for the new season. At the most, we’ll probably see the end of 2023 for new episodes.
