On Tuesday, we got a new look at a game based on a Netflix Korean zombie series called Kingdom: The Blood – and boy is it bloody.
The game got a short, and incredibly bloody gameplay, featuring a strictly choreographed sword wielding, along with brutal action, and yes, blood. So much for it. It is developed by Action Square, creators of Anvil, and has been announced for Windows PC and portable devices.
The Kingdom is a live-action K-drama from Netflix based on the popular online cartoon series called The Kingdom of the Gods. The story takes place sometime between the years 1400 and 1900, in the Joseon period of Korea, and follows a young prince as he seeks to save his land from an invading plague. Netflix has released two seasons of the series so far consisting of 12 episodes in total.
Kingdom is not a spectacle that is terrifying with jumping scares. This series is just as carefully created as Game of Thrones. The writing, acting, on-site shooting, cinematography and visual effects leave absolutely nothing to be desired … except for more episodes!
