One of the delights of any summer time is the chance to finally watch the best television shows. And thanks to an early Amazon Prime Day 2022 deal that offers two months of Amazon Prime Video channels for just 99 cents, Prime Video customers can not only stream original series like Fleabag and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, but will also have access to some of the most talked about shows (see you Reacher fans) and movies of the season.
Here’s how it works: Until July 13, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial of Prime Video ($15 a month after the trial) or sign in to subscribe to up to 18 different video channels, typically priced between US$ $5 and $11 a month for just under a dollar. With channels like Paramount+, BET+ and Showtime included, that means you’ll have access to original series like The Boys (edgy) and The Year I Turned Pretty (romantic), as well as movies like Marry Me, No Time to Die and Respect. You’ll also get reduced movie rental rates while they’re still in theaters, so you can watch everything from a prestige horror movie like Crimes of the Future (starring Kristen Stewart and Viggo Mortensen) to thrillers like Ambulance (starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II).
